Experience in R&D and Outreach Projects:

SIAM / Petrobras (1998-2008): Development of the mathematical model and algorithm for optimal distribution of petroleum products in the downstream sector (from the refinery to the gas station). Project developed in partnership with LabTrans (Department of Civil Engineering / Federal University of Santa Catarina).
PAGED / Petrobras (2001-2003): Study for the development of a mathematical model and algorithms to determine optimal (equilibrium) prices in the petroleum products market, considering the breakdown of the Brazilian oil monopoly. Project developed by ORLab (Department of Production Engineering / Federal University of Santa Catarina).
CelescEQ / CELESC (2002-2003): Development of a multi-criteria model for load reallocation in secondary electricity distribution networks, implemented through a georeferenced computer system for the purpose of analyzing maneuvers in low voltage electrical networks. R&D project developed through ORLab (Department of Production Engineering / Federal University of Santa Catarina), in partnership with LabPLan (Department of Electrical Engineering / Federal University of Santa Catarina).
BioLogística / GIZ (2010-2011): Development and computational implementation of models and algorithms to optimize biomass supply in a Eletrosul thermoelectric micro-power plant. Project developed through ORLab (Department of Production Engineering / Federal University of Santa Catarina) with funding from GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit).
PELT/SC (2012-2013): Development of the model and algorithm for optimal allocation of product flows in the main logistics chains of interest for the State Plan for Logistics and Transport of Santa Catarina (PELT/SC). Computational implementation of a georeferenced system for analysis of infrastructure projects under analysis. Project developed through NURES (Department of Production Engineering / Federal University of Santa Catarina) and funded by FAPESC.
PNLP (2018-2019): Study for the development of an economic equilibrium model in the context of granting port concessions for the National Port Logistics Plan (PNLP). Project developed by LabTrans (Department of Civil Engineering / Federal University of Santa Catarina) for the National Secretariat of Ports and Waterway Transportation.
