• Author and editor of 22 books in Brazil and abroad (Springer and Taylor and Francis).
• Recipient of international recognition: Outstanding Paper Award for Excellence from Emerald Literati Network and the TOCICO Outstanding Volunteer Award.
• Recipient of national recognition through academic distinctions with research supervised by him awarded by ABEPRO in 2013/2014/2015/2018/2020/2023 and ANPEPRO in 2019, Rio Grande do Sul Researcher Award – FAPERGS 2014 (Researcher in Company category), and Merit Award in Administration (CRA-RS).
• Member of the Independent Award Committee of International Symposium on Immunobiologicals (ISI-Bio-Manguinhos/FIOCRUZ) and collaborates with the College of Charleston/USA, University of Porto, Catholic University of Porto, Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e – Netherlands), and University of Florence.
